Zaidu Sanusi played a part in FC Porto’s UEFA Champions League win over AC Milan at the Estadio Do Dragao on Tuesday night.
Sanusi who has lost his first team shirt under coach Sergio Conceciao started from bench, but came on in the second half of the game.
The Super Eagles left back replaced the new first choice Wendell who went off after picking up an injury.
The defender was impressive after coming on and he cut out many dangerous balls from Milan’s attackers.
The former Satan Clara man has now featured in two champions league game for the former Portuguese champions this season.
Colombia striker Luis Diaz netted the winning goal for Porto in the 65th minute and it was enough to keep Porto in the race for round of 16 place.
