A 72-year-old Grand Pa is the Strongest Man in Taiwan?

Who is Nigeria’s strongest geezer? Any one?

While you’re trying to sort that, here’s an interesting tale from the far east.

This elderly man has been dubbed Taiwan’s strongest grandfather as well as a ‘Real-life Master Roshi’ after a video of his incredible gym routine went viral.

Huang Ching-hsin, 72, is the super-fit grandpa from a clip now viewed millions of times on social media sites.

He hits the gym whenever he is taking time out from being a farmer in Pingtung, in south-western Taiwan.

Trainers at his local ‘Hai Feng’ say the veteran does the same routines as those taking part in ‘Mr Muscle’ beauty pageants in Taiwan and in the rest of Asia.

But the difference is Mr Ching-hsin ‘does it for fun’.

The video shows a shirtless Mr Ching-hsin doing 10 pull-ups in a row on a horizontal bar before easing into the dreaded ‘ab roller’ crunching exercise.

Footage of the old man proves that rippling muscles are not just something young people can pull off, as he shows off his six-pack and toned pectoral muscles.

Mr Ching-hsin is said to be able to bench press 264lbs.

Since the clip went viral the Taiwanese have named him the real-life version of Master Roshi – the bald, white-bearded, turtle shell-wearing martial arts master from Japan’s popular cartoon, Dragon Ball.
