In the latest development from the English Championship, Southampton are now ready to keep Paul Onuachu, who is currently making waves in Turkey.

According to reports, Trabzonspor is actively pursuing a permanent deal for the Super Eagles forward who joined the club on loan during summer transfer window.

Despite the Turkish club’s eagerness, Southampton seems reluctant to part ways with Onuachu, potentially throwing a spanner in the works for the proposed move.

Southampton are convinced the player still has a future at the Club, owing to his incredible run of form in Turkey.

Before his departure from, Southampton he made 18 appearances without scoring a goal and was deemed surplus to requirements by the managers.

The Nigerian forward has now found success, scoring six goals in eight appearances so far.
