Waldrum looks forward to new adventures with Super Falcons

Coach Randy Waldrum says he’s delighted to be appointed as the new Head coach of the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

 

Randy Waldrum was selected ahead of the other 40 coaches that applied for the vacant position and he’s expected to help the team their dominance in Africa to the next level.

 

Shortly after the announcement from the Nigeria Football Federation, the former Trinidad and Tobago boss took to his social media handle to acknowledged the role.

 

He said: “Very excited to head up the #NigerianWomensNationalTeam and look forward to working with this amazing team! Gives me a chance to reconnect with some of the players I know! Big thanks to Pitt for allowing me the flexibility to work with them! #SuperFalcons”.

 

This is the second time the American will be appointed to thinker the record African champions,  he was first appointed in October 2017, but he rejected the offer.

 

After turning down the job, the American coach was appointed as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Panthers in December 2017.
