Iheanacho joins the Club of PL fastest goals contributions chart

Kelechi Iheanacho is gradually building a reputation as one of the best finishers and providers in the English Premier League.

The Nigerian contributed a goal and assist as Leicester City cruised to a 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at King Power on Saturday.

The goal was his third PL goal of the season in 16 appearances (28th in 138 EPL games for Leicester since he joined from Man City in August 2017) and his fourth against Tottenham in 11 matches.

Also, among players with 150+ appearances in the Premier League, Iheanacho ranks 10th all-time for minutes per goal or assist.

He’s tenth on the log with 122 minutes per goal contribution. Thierry Henry and Kun Aguero lead the chart with 86 minutes, followed by Mohammed Salah (97), Van Persie (102m), Harry Kane (105), Gabriel (109), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (109), Erik Cantona and Didier Drogba (110).

Iheanacho also became the second Nigerian after Yakubu Aiyegbeni (135) to record over 100 shots in the EPL on Saturday.
