In the rankings released on on Thursday morning, Nigeria failed to progress or maintain their previous position following the two friendly matches played last month.

While they secured a victory against Ghana with a score of 2-1, the team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Mali.

Despite dropping two places in the World, Nigeria continue to hold onto the third position in Africa, behind Morocco and Senegal.

Egypt’s Pharaohs and African Cote d’Ivoire’s Elephants complete the top five teams on the continent, solidifying their positions as formidable competitors.
