Ademola Lookman is still not fit to return to action and will miss Atalanta’s Serie A fixture against AS Roma on Monday night.

The forward has been diagnosed with a physical problem according to reports from Italy, and was excused from Atalanta’s last Serie A game away at Fiorentina.

Latest results from test later showed the striker is suffering from muscle strain, and will spend a few weeks on the sideline, Tuttomercatoweb reported.

“Ademola (Lookman) will not take part in Atalanta-Roma, a game that will close the match schedule of the week 31 fixtures on Monday evening.

“The player has been subjected to further tests and the first diagnosis confirmed a muscle strain to the hamstring of the right thigh,” The report read.

The former Everton and RB Leipzig player is however expected to be back before the end of the month.

Atalanta are looking at April 29, when they take Torino in Turin, as a possible return date for the Winger.

Lookman, 25, is Atalanta’s top goalscorer in Serie A this season with 13 goals and five assists from 28 games
