African Games: Bosso Hits Panic button

In a response to Nigeria’s recent 2-1 loss against Uganda at the ongoing African Games on Thursday, Head Coach Ladan Bosso announced an emergency meeting with his players.

Bosso’s team struggled on the night as the East Africans dominated before snatching a late winner.

“We would have a positive meeting with the players, it is important that they express themselves,” the Coach said.

“Logically we would have liked to have started (the tournament) in another way, but the players are clear that there are two games ahead that could make so much difference.”

The Nigerian coach stressed the need for every player to respond positively to the defeat and urged them to intensify their efforts to salvage their campaign.

“For every player, being in the national team is a dream, we did not start the way we wanted, but we will continue fighting for that dream that we all have,” He concluded.
