As the 13th African Games intensify, Falconets head coach Chris Danjuma is confidence ahead of the semi-final showdown against Uganda.

With an impeccable track record in the competition, the Nigerian team is set to take on Uganda today at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Nigeria who are defending champions, remain unbeaten in the tournament triumphing over Morocco and Senegal in the group stage.

Danjuma expressed unwavering determination, stating that his team is ready to fight for result, “My girls are as determined as ever to secure their spot in the final and clinch the gold medal.

“My expectation here is that we came with the mentality of champions and we want to go to the world Cup as champions in Africa and the only way to become champions is to make sure we take every match as a final,” Danjuma told a press conference.
