Agbalaka makes CAF U20 Group phase best IX

Nigeria U20 left-back, Solomon Agbalaka made the U20 Africa Cup of Nations Team of the Group stage.

Agbalaka was outstanding in the three group games for the Flying Eagles who finished as runner up in group A.

The defender scored the vital goal against Egypt, that got Nigeria’s campaign back on track, after their opening day defeat to Senegal.

His inclusion in the team didn’t come as a surprise as he won two man of the match awards in three Group games.

Nigeria returns to action on March 2 when they face Uganda in the quarter final at the Suez Canal Stadium.
