Aghahowa expects Eagles coach Rohr to make better use of Nigerian players

Former Super Eagles striker Julius Aghahowa has stated that he expects Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr to make better use of Nigerian players and get the best out of them stressing that the current campaign has shown that there won’t be any excuse on the quality on ground for the coach to choose from.

Aghahowa speaking in a chat with brila.net said that Nigeria is blessed with an abundance of talented players across Europe and the statistics posted this season is testament to the top quality of the current set of players available for selection.

“We have a very good crop of players coming through playing different leagues in the world but we are still finding it difficult to match them together to get the desired results that we want. I think the issue of management is where the problem is because these players at their clubs they are doing wonderfully well and scoring but when we bring them back here, there are one or two things that are lacking behind making them not to pick.”
