Super Eagles and Leicester City’ striker Ahmed Musa’s second goal against Iceland has been named among the top 10 goals at the just concluded Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Russia witnessed some of the finest footballers on the planet and saw some of the best goals in World Cup history as France eventually scooped the big prize after a wonderful tournament.
The chaps at FIFA have compiled an interesting version of their top ten goals which incredibly leaves out one of the most fantastic goals of the tournament, Nacho’s sumptuous strike for Spain v Portugal in the 3-3 draw.
Apart from Musa’s effort, there is also room for the two big names of world football in this list, as Lionel Messi’s incredible touch and finish v Nigeria is included, as is Cristiano Ronaldo’s incredible last-minute free-kick v Spain.
