Former Technical director of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, Sunday Adeleye has described the latest appeal filed by the Athletics Integrity Unit against Tobi Amusan’s clearance by the Disciplinary Tribunal as mental torture and one that has elements of politics at the top level.

Adeleye speaking in a chat with BRL said that, the case against Amusan already has a touch of victimization.

He alleges that, the AIU is trying to attack the Nigerian’s mental fortitude where they failed to break her down after she beat her previous case and still competed at the World Athletics Championship, as well as at the Diamond League finale where she found success.
