Reports from Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf disclosed that Nottingham Forest and Fulham made lucrative offers for the talented forward, only to be rebuffed by the Dutch giants.

Ajax has staunchly refused to entertain any potential departure for Akpom, affirming their commitment to retaining him as a vital asset ahead of the impending summer transfer window.

Chuba Akpom is eager to explore fresh opportunities in his career and has expressed his desire for a new chapter, indicating he will engage in discussions with the club at the season’s conclusion.

Despite experiencing limited playing time, the striker has impressively netted fifteen goals in 34 appearances since his arrival at Ajax from Middlesbrough, in a deal valued at £12.5 million.
