Former MFM FC defender Joshua Akpudje has signed for Czech Republic side FK Jablonec.
The defender announced the deal via his social media handle on Monday afternoon.
Akpudje signed a two-year contract with the club, after spending two seasons in Latvia, where he played for Daugavpils and FK Panevėžys in Lithuania.
“I’m grateful to God for this opportunity, it’s the dream of every young player to play in Europe.”
“I feel great, the whole team welcomed me well and it’s my time to work hard for a better future.
“I feel loved, the first day I met the coach, he made me feel like a son and the players are good as well.
“I’m so happy happy to watch the game over the weekend. It wasn’t easy with two red cards, but the boys have everything and that’s what everything needs at the moment,” He said in his first interview.
Akpudje trained with his teammates for the first time on Sunday afternoon.
