Kennedy Boboye says he’s expecting a tough match against Kwara United in Sunday’s NPFL encounter at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
The former Plateau United nd Remo Stars FC boss described the Harmony Boys are decent who are capable of winning on any ground.
Kwara United left Uyo with the maximum points in the last visit and they hoping to hand the Promise Keepers back to back defeat on their home turf.
“We are anticipating a tough match against Kwara United. They area good team and are also playing well. Last season they won us herein Uyo but that won’t happen again on Sunday because we arementally and physically prepared for this game”. Boboye said ahead of the game.
Back to back draw against Rangers International and Abia Warriors saw Akwa United slipped to second spot in the table.
They care currently trailing leaders Kano Pillars with two points and Boboye admitted, his side has done well in recent matches ; “Our last two games didn’t give us the desired results, we only managed to pick just two points from a possible six and that wasn’t good enough considering our ambition this season.” He concluded.
