Almeria’s Chief Mohamed El Assy admits star Forward Umar Sadiq will leave Almeria this summer, but his destination is not yet known.
Sadiq has been in the midst of transfer speculations for the last twelve months following his exploits for Almeria, with Bayern Munich and Sevilla reportedly interested.
Villarreal and Getafe are the latest clubs with reported interests in the Player and the striker has been left out of Almeria squad for their most recent games.
Speaking on the player’s situation at the Club, El Assy, admitted the club will sell the striker €30m, but refused give more details away.
“Umar Sadiq has not travelled to England to avoid any type of injury that could stop a transfer that is close at this time,” Assy said, as per Football Espana.
” He will be sold for a little less than €30m. We have 12-13 other players that have received offers.
“They are players who have prestige in the market, and you hope that they have a great future,” he added.
Sadiq Umar signed for Almeria from Partizan Belgrade for €9.00m and he has repaid the faith with 38 league goals in the last two seasons as well as LaLiga promotion and the Segunda Liga title.
