Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo is part of the Southampton’s squad to Spain for mid season training camp.
Aribo and his teammates arrived training camp in Marbella, Spain on Monday and they’ll be working under the new head coach Nathan Jones.
Jones who replaced sacked Ralph Hassehutl just before the World Cup break named Aribo and 26 others for the trip.
The team will spend a week in the southern coast of Andalucía for a winter training camp ahead of their return to action against Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup on December 21.
The camping will allow Nathan Jones to learn more about his squad as they hope to revive their season after the World Cup break.
Saints will return from Spain on Sunday, December 11, ten days before their Carabao Cup fourth round clash against Lincoln City at St Mary’s.
Jones’ first Premier League game in charge at home will take place on Boxing Day against Fulham.
