Aribo shines as Rangers overpower Ross County at Ibrox

Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo was on terget for Rangers as they came from behind to beat Ross County 4-2 on Sunday.

It was the third goal for the former Charlton Athletic midfielder in the 2021-2022 Scottish Premier League this season.

English-born Nigerian youngster Joseph Oluwagbemiga Mayowa Hungbo gave Ross County the lead inside the opening five minutes, before Aribo equalised fourteen minutes later.

Ryan Kent put Rangers ahead for the first time on the 30th minute, when he latched on the a pass from former Aston Villa winger Bacuna.

Aribo bagged his third assists of the season when he set up Juninho Bacuna for Rangers third goal of the game on the 49th minute.

An own goal from defender Alex Iacovitti on the 60th minute put the game beyond visitors, who themselves later scored a consolation with three minutes left to play.

Rangers remain on top of the log with 30 points, while occupied bottom of the log with 6 points. Both team have played 12 games so far.
