Nigerian goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo made his first start for Arsenal in a pre-season game against Scottish side Hibernian on Tuesday.
The youngster was handed his first senior start for Arsenal a few days after signing a new long-term contract.
However, just 21 minutes into the game, the 19-year-old made a terrible mistake that allowed the Scottish premier league side took the lead.
Okonkwo made an awful mistake when as he attempted to clear a back pass from his defender. Hibernia forward Martin Boyle pounce on the ball and tap into an empty.
Okonkwo was later replaced in the second half of the game by worried Coach Mikel Arteta.
Meanwhile, Daniel Mackay grabbed the second goal for Hibernian in the 69th minutes, before Nikolas Pepe missed a penalty a few minutes later.
Substitute Emile Smith Rowe made it 2-1 for the Gunners with eight minutes left on the clock but they were unable to score the all-important equalizer before the referee sounded the final whistle.
