Rivers Hoopers continue their fine run in the African Basketball Africa League with an impressive 84-63 win over US Monastir on Tuesday.

It was Rivers Hoopers’ third win in a row, defeating US Monastir following victories against APR and AS Douanes.

The Nigerian champions have been relentless in their pursuit of success, previously clinching a 82-86 win against APR, and a 77-68 win against last year’s finalists AS Douanes.

Key to Rivers Hoopers’ success has been their exceptional Point Guard Will Perry, whose stellar performance has been pivotal in the team’s victories.

Perry, a standout player in the previous edition of the tournament, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance while emphasizing the importance of remaining focused on the task ahead.

“I’m happy with the performance, it was incredible but we must stay focused. The job is not done,” Perry reflected on the team’s latest victory in the BAL.

Perry’s individual statistics underscore his instrumental role in the team’s success, boasting an impressive average of 21.7 points per game, 5.3 assists, and 2.3 steals.
