Bayern Munich weigh up Osimhen Option as Lewandowski’s Replacement

German giants Bayern Munich have contacted Napoli to ask for information about Victor Osimhen.

Italian media outlet, Corriere dello Sport reported that the Bavarians have lined up the striker as ideal successor for want-way forward Robert Lewandowski.

Osimhen, who scored 18-goals for Napoli in 32 appearances, still has three years left on his contract and the Partenopei are not willing to listen to any offers under €100m.

However, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Bayern admires the player, but haven’t contacted with Napoli over a possible transfer.

He added that Bayern Munich’s priority is to keep 34-year-old Lewandowski at the Club until he end of his contract.

The Polish International is an idol at the Allianz Arena, but fell out with the top chiefs and has openly declared that he wishes to continue is football elsewhere.

Lewondowski has spent eight productive years with the German giants, scoring 344 goals in 375 games.
