Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso says the main target for his team is winning the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The Seven time winner booked their place in the semi-final with a 1-0 win over Uganda on Thursday.
The victory also means the Nigerians are through to the FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia in June.
“The boys have maintained that they are out for business, now that we have picked the World Cup ticket, the next thing is to ensure that we qualify for the final and hopefully we can go back home to Nigeria with the trophy,” Bosso said after the game.
The Flying Eagles have now won their last three games in the competition, keeping three clean sheets in the process.
The Flying Eagles will combat the winner of the quarter-final tie between Gambia and South Sudan in the last four.
