Brila FM Abuja set to resume transmission

Sports loving fans resident in Nigeria’s Federal capital territory Abuja can begin to anticipate the return of Sports Radio 88.9 Brila FM Abuja after going off transmission for about five months owing to the effects of a torrential rainfall that happened in the nation’s capital on the midnight of 26th of May 2020 to the early hours of the 27th of May 2020 with the transmission tower greatly affected.

And as the station nears the resumption of transmission, Chairman CEO Brila Media Dr. Larry Izamoje has announced that the station will resume broadcast before the end of the month of October 2020 better and stronger after revealing during the station’s 18th anniversary on Brila Fm’s nationwide broadcast on the 1st of October 2020 that works are at a very advanced stage to ensure the certainty of the station’s return for the month of October 2020.
Dr. Larry explained that the nationwide Lockdown induced by the Covid-19 pandemic was largely responsible for the long period of return as it was practically impossible to have new transmission towers imported due to the restriction of movements and the shutdown of Airports as well.
The Sports media guru, however, promised fans to look forward to a richer return especially to fans resident in Abuja who have inundated the station with enquiries as to the possible date of return.
He however urged fans to continue to listen via the station’s Mobile Application online while the countdown on a return starts.
