Super Eagles Forward, Paul Onuachu is still chasing his first goal in the Premier League goal for Southampton after firing blank against Manchester United this Sunday.

Onuachu joined Southampton from KRC Genk in January and has been involved in five games so far.

He has played a total 238 minutes without scoring a goal since joining the club.

Against Manchester United, at Old Trafford, he started from the bench as Coach Ruben Selles gave Che Adams the nod to lead the attack.

Onuachu however was introduced with five minutes left of regulation time.

The forward replaced former Arsenal winger Theo Walcott, to add fire power and change the dimension of the team’s attack.

Southampton had the numerical advantage following the sending off of Casemiro early on in the game, but the Saints couldn’t make it count.

Meanwhile, Onuachu’s compatriot Joe Aribo was not included in the match day squad.

With the goalless draw at Old Trafford, Ruben Selles’ side to climb out of the relegation zone for the first time since the end of October.
