Spanish Club Celta de Vigo has confirmed they’re taking legal action against KRC Genk over Nigerian striker Victory Beniangba.

19-year-old, Victory Beniangba is at the centre of a transfer tussle between both clubs, who really want him to play for them.

Celta Vigo announced three weeks ago, they reached agreement to sign the striker from Young Boys Football Academy, following the expiration of his loan deal at Egyptian side El Gaish.

The player, however, changed his mind on the move and opted to accept a proposal from Belgian Jupiler league team KRC Genk.

According to Spanish media outlet, Eldesmasque.com the player has not appeared at Vigo, despite signing a contract with the club, but now it seems he wants to play for Genk.

However, Celta de Vigo says it has the necessary documents that Beniangba has signed a contract with them and will consider seeking justice in the court.

The Spanish club suggested the player was manipulated and their lawyers will investigate the situation, before approaching the court for a possible solution.
