After been linked with Crystal Palace, reports in Spain suggest that Nigerian midfielder Joel Obi could be on his way to Celta Vigo this summer.

Portuguese duo Porto and Benfica have also been linked with the former Inter Milan man, along with La Liga side Getafe.

The Torino midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away during the summer transfer window, with Palace among the clubs said to be interested in signing the 27-year-old.

But it has been claimed in a report on Spanish radio programme Galicia en Goles that Celta Vigo have met with representatives of the midfielder, who is currently part of the Super Eagles squad at the World Cup in Russia.
