Former France and Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf has suggested that forward Victor Osimhen could be the ideal replacement for Kylian Mbappé at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) when the French star moves on at the end of the season.

Mbappé’s contract with PSG is set to expire, and he is reportedly considering a move to Real Madrid, leaving PSG in need of a suitable replacement for their star player. Leboeuf believes Osimhen could be the perfect fit for the Parisian club.

Speaking on ESPN FC, Leboeuf highlighted Osimhen’s qualities and how he could complement the current players at PSG:

“Well, you know we talked about Toney, I think Osimhen will be a good choice for Paris. I don’t know if he wants to go there but that is the kind of player I see with pace working with Dembele that could also be a good match.

“My favorite is Osimhen and since Toney seems to be available, it is a good possibility as well.”

Despite recently signing a new deal with Napoli, Osimhen’s future with the Italian club seems uncertain, and he may become available for interested clubs willing to pay his release clause of 130 million euros in the summer transfer window.
