Coach Salisu believes Eagles will improve after Plateau Utd stalemate

Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf believes his team will get better after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Plateau United in their first game at the Nigeria Professional Football League invitational tournament going on in Kano.

The Super Eagles gaffer also stated that he wants to work on the team to ensure they start winning games.

Speaking in an interview on Brila FM, Salisu said his boys dominated the game but they were unlucky not to get a win.

“The team will come out good, I’m confident there will be an improvement from the Plateau draw into the next game,” Salisu told Brila.

Coach Salisu said even though his team only trained twice for the game, he remained optimistic that the team will be ready for the CHAN tournament in Morocco.

Furthermore, the Super Eagles Coach lauded the efforts of the NPFL management, saying the League has improved.

“I think the NPFL management have done a good job, organizing the tournament.
