Coach of Nigeria women Premier League side Nasarawa Amazon Christopher Danjuma has rued his side’s failure to make the Super 4 following the turn of result this season for last season’s league runners up.
Danjuma speaking in a chat with www.brila.net revealed that Amazon’s failure is attributed to the team’s bad home form where they dropped 4 points st home this season.
He said that alone his team didn’t recover from a whole season which eventually affected them at the end of the season.
“Naturally you strategize , you set your goals and your priority. Sometimes it works for you and sometimes it doesn’t. This year we dropped 4 points at home and to qualify you don’t lose games at home. That’s where we lost it.
“We always want to win both the league title and Federation cup. Now we have lost the women Premier league but can still look forward to playing the Super cup where the Federation cup winner faceoff with the league winner.”
