Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis is disappointed with Watford’s defeat to Chelsea at Vicarage Road last night.
Dennis scored for Watford, but it wasn’t enough to earn them a point as Chelsea dug deep to pick all three points.
Speaking to the press, Dennis who has now scored six goals in the Premier League this season, said they should have gotten something more from the game, but Chelsea were just lucky.
“I’m really proud of the team because we played really well. It’s unfortunate for the result, they were lucky to take the three points.”
“The intensity was there and it shows we now understand how the manager wants us to play, you can see the progress in how to play. So I’m really proud of the team, we just need to continue working hard and the results will come.”. He said.
