Nigeria’s national women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, will kick off their Olympic journey against Australia.

The Federation of International Basketball Association (FIBA) unveiled the schedule for the women’s basketball event, with D’Tigress placed in Group B alongside hosts France, Canada, and Australia.

The highly anticipated clash between the African champions and Australia is scheduled for July 29.

Following their opener, Nigeria will then face hosts France, on August 1 before concluding their group stage campaign against Canada three days later.

All matches for D’Tigress will be held at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium in Lille.
