Ebuehi helps Empoli end Eight-match Winless Streak

Tyrone Ebuehi gave an excellent performance as Empoli defeated Lecce 1-0 in Monday night’s Serie A game.

Francesco Caputo converted a penalty to end Empoli’s eight-match winless streak and condemned Lecce to a fifth straight defeat.

Ebuehi from his right back position was solid all through the game and was one of the reasons Empoli came out on hurt during the game.

The Nigerian was on for the entire duration, completed 28 passes, made three blocks, won two duels and committed just one foul.

The 27-year-old has two goals and one assist in seventeen games for Empoli this season.
