Austin Eguaveon is confident the home based Super Eagles will be give good account of themselves against Mexico.
The NPFL stars will slug it out with the Mexicans at the Los Angeles Coliseum, in United States come July 3rd.
Twenty-two players have been training in Abuja, under the watchful eyes of the Nigeria Football Federation technical director and his assistant, Paul Aigbogun.
Speaking ahead of the tie, Eguaveon said he’s expecting the players to represent the country to the best of their abilities.
The experienced gaffer added that, the players can’t shy away from the responsibility and he’s confident they will deliver against the Mexicans.
“We can’t shy away from playing against Mexico, Nigeria is a great footballing nation, regardless of who is on the field of play.”
“We have put ourselves in good position in world football, so we have to go there and show them what we are capable of doing.” He said.
