Nigerian Professional Football League Giants Enyimba Football Club have reached an agreement for the signing of Elijah Akanni.
Akanni will join the People’s Elephant having spent several seasons with MFM FC.
Following the relegation of the Olukoya Boys from the topflight division, Akanni decided to move on and joined the Finidi George’s side.
An attacking midfielder with the striking ability to string passes through a needle’s eye, Akanni also functions effectively in deeper central midfield positions.
He’s the direct replacement for Cyril Olisema who left to rejoin his former Club Akwa United.
