Enyimba FC striker Victor Mbaoma has stated that the Peoples Elephants are up to something good this season after going joint too level on point with league leaders Rivers united following the team’s 1-0 win over Katsina united in one of the NPFL matchday 7 fixture.
Mbaoma speaking in a chat with brila.net said the People’s Elephant are not threatened by any other league side as regards their ambition for the season. He added that the team will simply continue to take each game as it come in their strive to emerge as the best team standing at the end of the league.
“We’re just trying to achieve something, it’s more or like a gradual process but I can say we are getting better as the day goes by, we don’t have a threat, we don’t want anything to put us under any kind of pressure, so we take each match as it comes and to the top so no team is giving any kind of pressure.”
