Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Enyimba FC Fatai Osho has stated that his side will not be getting ahead of themselves yet after going top of the NPFL table for the first time this season following Wednesday’s 2-1 win in Lafia against host Nasarawa united.
Osho speaking in a chat with brila.net said it is still early in the season to get thrilled for going top and that maintaining the position will be the next thing to consider. He also described their host as a very strong side that gave them a very good fight before getting the away win.
“It’s still early days in the league, If you look at this Nasarawa team they have a very strong team you can’t take that away from them, the fact that we have beaten them doesn’t make them a weak team. It’s still early days and a lot of matches to cover and it will be foolhardy for anyone to start celebrating at this moment.”
