Esu attributes first away defeat to injury to key player Harrison

Coach of NPFL side Dakada FC Caleb Esu has attributed his first league defeat on the road this season to injury to key forward Ibukun Harrison which happened early in the game against MFM FC.

Esu speaking in a chat with brila.net expressed disappointment on the development because he never expected that his team’s unbeaten away record will be ended by MFM FC in Lagos.
He thereafter added that they will continue to work hard to sustain their good form in the league.
“To be  honest I did not expect my team losing especially here in Lagos because this is a no man’s land.
We thought it was going to be a 50/50 thing and then we tried as much as possible to capitalise on those little opportunities and make sure we go home with a point but when I lost my central Ibukun Harrison to that unfortunate injury, I knew I was in real trouble.”
