Brila Media can exclusively report that NPFL debutants, Sporting Lagos have sacked coach Paul Offor, although no reasons have been given, nor any club statement made, a source from inside the club confirmed the news.

There were rumours about the status of the young Offor’s job security within the club, however on Wednesday the clearest signs surfaced.

It is still unclear, pending club official statement why the Coach was sacked.

Under the tutelage of Offor Sporting Lagos have won ten of their fifteen home games so far this season, although in contrasting manner, are yet to pick up a win away.

For context, the highest number of away wins for a club in the league this season stands at three, by Rangers who currently lead the league table.

Meanwhile while, former Kwara United boss, Abdullahi Biffo has been named by the source, as the favorite candidate to assume the role once Offor’s departure is announced.
