Ezenwa congratulates Noble, hopeful of National team return

Heartland FC and Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has stated that he will be back to the national team after congratulating Enyimba’s John Noble who got included in the list of players for the final set of AFCON qualifying fixtures against the Benin Republic and Lesotho by coach Gernot Rohr.

Ezenwa speaking in a chat with brila.net was full of praises for the newly invited shot-stopper who he believes should keep his focus and determination as an ambassador of the NPFL players in the National team where he has thrived and done well representing the country.

He thereafter stressed that he is very hopeful of a return to the Super Eagles himself once he gets back to playing at club level for Heartland FC.

“That is one thing Football is all about first of all I wish John Noble all the best in the National team, it’s fun to be there. I’ve always done my best representing the NPFL players in the national team and I’ve always done my best when called upon in between the sticks for the national team. Football sometimes you have some challenges that’s why it’s up and down, and I believe one thing in myself that I will be back.”
