Heartland FC and Super Eagles shot stopper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has stated that there is no cause for alarm over his fitness after been substituted 34 minutes into Sunday’s Premier league Oriental derby clash between FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Heartland FC of Owerrri on a day the goalie was invited for national team duty.
Ezenwa speaking in a chat with brila.net clarified the whole scenario stressing that while he had a little knock he decided to come out of the game early so as to avoid causing further damage.
He added that he will be good to go for the resumption of camping and preparation ahead of the international friendly against Mexico next month.
