Super Eagles and Heartland FC goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has stated that he will always hold fond memories of sacked Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr because it was under the reign of the Franco-German coach that he got his big break into the senior national team.
Ezenwa speaking in a chat with brila.net said that he quite understand the nature of the job of been a coach which is hire and fire but while he also understands with the Nigeria Football Federation for the decision taken, he will always remain grateful to coach Gernot Rohr for the trust and opportunities he had under the coach.
