Odion Ighalo and his Al Hilal teammates have qualified for 2022 FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.

Al Hilal beat Brazilian side Flamengo 3-2 in the semi-final on Tuesday to qualify for the final.

Ighalo played for 57 minutes, but fired blank, however his teammates made sure there was no problem.

Ighalo will be the first Nigerian since Victor Moses in 2012 to feature in the final of the prestigious tournament.

The Saudi Arabians stunned 10-man Flamengo thanks to two penalties from Salem Al Dawsari and a close-range strike from Luciano Vietto.

Al Dawsari opened the scoring from the spot after three minutes and while Pedro leveled for the Brazilians.

The Brazilians hope of snatching the win hit the rock when Gerson conceded a penalty and was sent off in first-half stoppage time. Al Dawsari stepped forward and grabbed his second from the spot.

Vietto then added a third after the break, but Pedro got late a consolation for Flamengo.

Al Hilal, then becomes the first Saudi side to reach the Club World Cup final, and will face the winners of Real Madrid vs Al Ahly semi-final on Wednesday in Rabat.
