Finidi is doing something at Enyimba, Mbaoma reveals Real Betis Star’s Impact

Enyimba striker Victor Mbaoma has credited coach Finidi George and his teammates for his fine form in front of goal this season.

Mbaoma has scored 11 goals for Enyimba this season, only Rivers United’s striker Ishaq Rafiu has netted more so far in the NPFL this season.

His league goals haul in April 2022 is the most scored by any player in the NPFL and becomes the first Player to score 6+ league goals in a month since Silas Nwankwo scored 7 for Nasarawa United in July 2021.

“Basically it’s the Lord’s doing and I put my best to work as well. The team is also working hard to pick points,” Mbaoma said in a chat with www.brila.net.

Victor Mbaoma also heaped praises on coach Finidi George, who has been under immense pressure in recent months.

“The coach is also instrumental in our performance as he encourages us and never for once puts us under pressure,” He added.

Enyimba is currently 6th on the log, but Mbaoma remains optimistic they’ll secure a continental ticket come end of the season.
