Mikel Obi’s former assistant Manager at Chelsea, Ray Wilkins has passed away, aged 61.
Wilkins was rushed to hospital from his house in Cobham last week after suffering a heart attack.
Doctors decided to place him in a coma after he had collapsed but he passed away on Wednesday.
The former Chelsea midfielder and captain also served as assistant Manager in 2010 winning the league double of the EPL and FA Cup with Nigerian star, Mikel Obi a prominent member of the team.
Last week, Mikel tweeted, expressing sadness at the news of Wilkins’s condition, and prayed for the Club legend’s recovery.
