Junior Lokosa may not reproduce his impressive club form as a national team player because the Super Eagles is a different and bigger set up than his club according to former Nigeria Coach Samson Siasia.
Lokosa earned a call up to Nigeria’s world cup preliminary squad following an stellar mid season with NPFL side, Kano Pillars.
The forward has scored 18 league goals in 22 appearances and will fight for places in a list that has Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Victor Moses, Kelechi Iheanacho and fellow national team rookie Simeon Nwankwo.
In a chat with Brila.net Siasia expressed doubts in the player’s ability have a seamless transition.
He said, ‘I don’t know Lokosa but, talking about experience I believe playing for the national team and your club are not the same thing.’
