Former El Kanemi Warriors coach Ladan Bosso has been named as new coach of NPFL side FC IfeanyiUbah.
“FC IfeanyiUbah have reached an agreement for the services of Ladan Bosso,”announced the club’s spokesman Iyke Nwokedi.
“More details will be made public shortly.” Former Nigeria U-20 coach Bosso has been variously linked with several NPFL clubs before the appointment.
He takes over from the Ghanaian Yaw Preko, whose one-year contract was not renewed. Preko led the Nnewi club to reach the semi-finals of the Aiteo Cup this past season.
The former Wikki Tourist coach who takes over from Yaw Preko, a former Black Stars player. He will be unveiled on Monday in Nnewi, Anambra state.
Bosso was the head coach of El Kanemi Warriors in the 2016/17 NPFL season. He was replaced as El-Kanemi coach by Imama Amapakabo in October.
Before his appointment, he was in the running to coach Enyimba and Katsina United.
The new FC Ifeanyi Ubah manager led Nigeria’s U-20 side to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2007.
