Former Real Madrid and Juventus manager Fabio Capello says he is aware some clubs are keeping close tabs on Victor Osimhen and has urged Napoli President, Aurelio de Laurentiis to step up his game.
Osimhen has enjoyed an explosive start to the season for the Partenopei, scoring nine goals and two assists in 11 Serie A games this season.
Only on Thursday, the Nigerian was voted as the best young emerging player in the world at the Globe Soccer Awards.
The 23-year-old edged Bukayo Saka and Jamal Musiala, Gavi, Federico Valverde and others to win the award.
Capello who attended the event in Dubai, said the Nigerian is still developing and he is privid to some transfer rumours linking the Nigerian to top clubs.
“Osimhen is young, he can improve,” Capello said during an interview during the Globe Soccer Awards held in Dubai on Thursday.
