Four-goal Hero Osimhen sets Audacious AFCON qualification Target

Victor Osimhen was the hero as Nigeria roundly defeated Sao Tome and Principe 10-0 at the Stade Adrar on Monday.

The Striker scored four goals and assisted two to take his tally in the qualifiers to five goals in two games.

Speaking during the post match conference, Osimhen congratulated his teammates for the victory and stated that the team wants to go through the qualifiers with a 100 percent record.

“I’m happy to score four goals and also happy for my teammates that got their first national team goals as well; the likes of Ademola Lookman, Terem Moffi and Emmanuel Dennis,” the Forward said.

“There is solidarity in the team and I believe we have qualities to do more and getting good results.

“In this qualifiers we don’t want to lose any game and We want to wrap up the qualification as soon as possible,” Osimhen admitted as he spoke on Nigeria’s campaign.
