Italian Club SS Lazio are interested in signing Super Eagles and KRC Genk of Belgium striker Paul Onuachu, according to reports.
The Nigerian is arguably the best forward in the Belgian Jupiler League for the past two seasons and It is an open secret that he want to test himself in one of the biggest Championship.
Italian newspaper La-gazzetta-dello-sport reported that Lazio have shown interest and are ready to bring him to the Seria A next season.
However, the Romans would have to meet Genk’s valuation for Paul Onuachu, who is still under contract in Genk until mid-2024.
The player is valued at €15million and it is unclear, if Genk will accept proposal from Lazio which is around £10.5million.
La-gazzetta-dello-sport also revealed that Lazio ‘s financial situation is not good and they might not able to afford the player without offloading one of their biggest stars.
One of the biggest contenders there is Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (27), the Serbian midfielder who is wanted by Juventus and Manchester United.
Onuachu has scored 19 goals in all competitions for Genk this season.
